When first starting to play poker, most players are intimidated. It's not easy to walk into a casino and sit down at a table not knowing a thing about poker. I'm not going to be the first to say that casinos are hospitable, because they aren't, let's face it. Therefore, the best alternative to starting at a live casino is to play at home online. Online poker is sweeping the nation and there are many reasons for that. It's easy to play and beginners do not have to be embaressed if they make a mistake; playing poker online is full proof, except for the part about risking your money.
Not all of us can become a star poker player overnight, nor do we all have the money to lose on something we aren't good at. Why risk your money on something that isn't a sure thing? People do it all the time, people love to gamble. When you are done reading all the lessons on this site, poker should no longer be a gamble for you; in other words, you should expect to win.
In my honest opinion, online poker is the easiest poker to win at. There are thousands upon thousands of people that play online poker and risk their money for the fun of it. If you have any type of skill, you can win at online poker. My partner and I have won thousands of dollars playing online alone and we are barely old enough to gamble legally. If you are willing to take the time to read through our site, and I mean really read through, we can guarentee you become a better poker player when you are finished. Our strategies work for us and they will work for you as well; after all, we are both playing on the same Internet.
