Chip Cases and Chip Racks

When people buy chips, they almost forget about one of the most important thing, the case. How are you going to hold your chips neatly if you do not have a chip case? Well that is why this page is here to introduce you to some of the types of chip cases on the market today.

Chip cases normally come in two flavors, Aluminum or Wooden. They also come in a variety of shapes. The most popular being the rectangular flat case and the carousel case.

Aluminum Wooden Carousel

I am not going to tell you which type is better than the other because, in reality, they are all just as durable as the next. The basic strategy in picking a chip case is to go by your own judgement. Oh, and of course make sure you can fit all of your chips into the case as well.

Chip Racks

Chip racks are of great convience. You will find these in casinos very often; they are used to carry around your own chips. Each person needs their own individual chip rack. Chip racks are not necessary for a small table game. However, if you are playing a large tournament that requires movement from table to table, chip racks should be on your shopping list.

Chip racks come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and types. Once again, this is all based on your judgement; just make sure you can fit a lot of chips onto one rack, you don't want to have to carry any with your hands. Anyways, the basic chip racks come in acrylic or plastic. Acrylic is more durable, but if you're on a budget, it's not worth it.
